For Christmas, I got a brand new Flip video. It has taken me awhile to break it out but here are a couple short videos I took of two of my fellows out on bikes, a small glimpse of my family's love affair with our two-wheeled vehicles.
Devil's Gear- do they have madsen's for rent??? How far is it fromt he train station. Sigh. If only they did have madsen rentals AND had a delivery service to the Amtrak train station.
I've been inspired, not scared by Julian's train trip craziness and am thinking about taking the train down to New Haven for a kids concert aat the peabody. But getting from Train station to peabody seems daunting. Would love to try a madsen. Or maybe if you know of bus routes?
thanks for any info you might have. ( it is devil's gear that you mentioned in the past about getting madsens. Or maybe just Xtra's? )
( I called devil's gear and they sort of do rent madsens. They don't have an official policy but he said he was thinking about it and I could be the first. About a mile from shop to station so I might have to take a cab over.
@ Dottie-- Bummer that the videos won't play on your computer :(. They seem to work from here so not sure how to go about fixing them.
@MamaVee-- Julian's latest adventures have totally inspired me to think the way you're thinking. The ride from the train station to the Peabody is totally doable (but you would need to ride on State for a bit. Not sure how you feel about that, but I have done that before plenty of times & can suggest a route). The train station - Devil's Gear is close.
PLEASE let me know when you are thinking about this. What concert? When? Because maybe we can ride & meet you at the train station & figure out how to help you get the Madsen for the afternoon... Or maybe if my older guys want to ride their own bikes from home to the Peabody with Peter than Finn & I could pick your kiddos up on the bakfiets & you could take your foldy bike. Let's talk about this!
